What is the BRG Coastal Challenge?

The BRG Coastal Challenge is just that... a challenge... for walkers, runners and cyclists to complete a 17½ mile coastal course from Fraserburgh (known locally as the Broch) to Gardenstown (also with a local name, Gamrie). Taking place annually in August, it attracts challengers from all over and of all abilities. It is not a race. It is about setting your goal to complete the course and doing so. Of course, some challengers also have a bit of a competitive streak and set their goal to get to the end first!

The Course...

The BRG course is one of the most challenging and beautiful you could walk, run or cycle

It starts in Fraserburgh at the beach, one of the nicest in the North of Scotland, continues along the beautiful Buchan coastline through the villages of Sandhaven and Rosehearty, and ends over 17 miles away at the harbour at Gardenstown.

Refreshments

 Refreshments will be available at the start/finish areas and at various points along the route.

Walkers	10.00 am
Runners	12.00 noon
Cyclists	1.00 pm

Our volunteer team will be waiting to register you and give you your race number - from 9.00 am on the day.

Prizes
 

A medal, t-shirt and goody bag will be awarded to all finishers.
